I had been thinking of this now for quite some time, and I really think this will generate more hits and create a lot of excitement here in this forum.
If we can get lets say 100 people to send 200 bucks each, and let the Shrink vouch for the money, seeing we all trust him.
So now we have 20,000 in the pot of our own money. Now here is what we would do. We'll take turns where everyone gets to pick one game a night when it's his turn, and we try to build that 20k into 100k, and we can decide individually when we want to walk and take the money and divide it equally amongst us 100 people. I think this will be awesome as it will bring us posters even closer together. We would have one thread a day based on this solely. If we have 20k amongst us, we will bet 5k on each game as a group, which means about 50 bucks a game per person. We would need to go 4 games under .500 to be out.
I think it would be great. Lets say for example, Journeyman picks first, and we can't disagree with him, as we will each have our turn to make our picks. So lets say he picks Celtics -5.5, and he wins the 5k, we will now have 25k in our acct, and when we get the result, we can all cheer on Journey and say, good job Journey, or thanks Journey, you da man, and so on. We can all cheer on the game together like a team on the same thread by giving updates every 3 min and saying, hey, we're looking great, or say, Journey you bum, you cost us, not looking good. and so on. And when he loses, we can give that poster shit for costing us. When the poster picks the game right for us, we can compliment him, and when he picks the losing team, we can insult him.
I think this will be fun as our money will be safe in Ken's hands, and really add some excitement to rx, and hits will be pouring in, especially on that specific thread that will get about 600 hits a night with all the comments about that game. We each take turns and we all can decide when we want to walk and just take our winnings, or our losses, as the group of 100 will narrow down each week. this will be great. Do you guys like the idea, or not? Would this work here? I think it would. What do you guys think? We can send the money via NETeller to Ken in seconds. I think it will be more fun than doing it for the money. We will have a lot of laughs doing it.
